Skiing Middle Teton in June

I Left town at 4 am and climbed 6k vert in 4 hours to the summit of Middle Teton. I was hoping to ski the east face which is one of my favorites in the Tetons, but the snow was too soft and the entrance was melted down to a vertical rock slab, so I had to ski the west couloir instead.

It was a great chance to take the new ski I've been working on with @meierskis, The Teton out for a tour in the mountains I named them after.

Always a fun day, but the lines are way more melted out than I thought they would be after such a big winter. I'm getting close, but still #notoverit.

Since the west couloir didn't get sun till afternoon, I waited 2 hours on the summit for it to soften, but it never really did. Some terrible turns in the couloir, (sound on) followed by good corn, some rock walking, and a couple miles of dirt back to the car.
